Preparation:
First you need to prepare the topping. For that you need to drain the cherries and kirsch for few hours in a small bowl.
For next 1 hour you need to shake the bowl thoroughly. You need to reserve the liquid and take care of the fact that the cherries are drained properly.
Now you need to add 1 cup sour cherry syrup and half of the cherries in a skillet. Boil it till it becomes thicker. It takes 6-10 minutes. You can prepare it a day earlier than making the cake. It will be less hectic for you then.
Crush the cookies and mix them with butter. Crush them and mix them together properly and the chocolate crust is ready. You need to mix it for 20- 20 minutes.
